The Room of Revelations

In this work the background imagery in “Cathedral’ has been used for the surface layer of the work. The ghosty forms of Leonardo Da Vinci’s ‘Adoration of the Magi” combined with the image of the San Galzano Abbey in Italy float and fracture across the architectural land scape of the interior of the original St Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Underneath are scenes from the final room in the ‘Stalker” by Andrei Tarkovsky, the room where the protagonists are to have revealed their greatest desires and innermost secret wishes.
